Overview
The WebOS App Catalog was the main entry point into the world of WebOS and the app eco-system. Users and Developers both relied heavily on the ability to discover, find and purchase new apps. The App Store design drove a significant portion of the revenue for WebOS and therefore was crucial to the success of the HP TouchPad tablet device.
My Role
As Design Lead for App Catalog at HP-Palm I was the principle driver of a unique and innovative approach to app shopping. I led a 3 person team with User Research, Visual Design and UI Development and collaborated closely with numerous other groups within HP-Palm in the design and implementation of this product.
