Overview
Pivot was a monthly magazine which used editorial content to recommend and sell apps to HP TouchPad owners.  HP contracted an outside design firm by the name of Science Project to produce the magazine content which was based on a UI framework that I designed.
My Role
As Design Lead for App Catalog at HP-Palm I was the principle driver of a unique and innovative approach to app shopping.  I led a 3 person team with User Research, Visual Design and UI Development and collaborated closely with numerous other groups within HP-Palm in the design and implementation of this product.
I was also responsible for defining the behavior and user experience of the magazine platform.  This included behaviors like swiping to change pages, downloading new content and purchasing items in the magazine.  Below are a few wireframes used to communicate those use cases and workflows.
Wireframes were used to communicate design direction and track communication between the agency 17 Feet and our internal design team.  Below are some samples of those wireframes.
